The Woman’s Role In The Bible

Part 7: Are Women Equal To Men?

In the name of God, Master of the universe, Ruler of the earth.

My Beloved Sister in Christ Ingrid Greetings,

Peace be unto you. We pray that you and those of the female flesh will take heed to what we are revealing on these pages. Be not moved by your fleshly desires to direct the Spirit which is impossible? There are many things to do however your personal agendas are of no use.

Beloved why do so many women become offended and deny much of the scripture that describes the role, status and position of the woman as to man? Who is in charge? Is it God and Christ? What has God ordained?

1 Corinthians 11: 3. “But I would have you know, that the head of every man is Christ; and the head of the woman is the man; and the head of Christ is God: (Also see 1 Corinthians 11: 9-11

Beloved there is no supremacy of the man in this scripture. However someone has to be in charge to avoid chaos. Therefore submission is mutual commitment and cooperation. It is not a means to rule over another.  Turn with us back to Genesis for a scripture lesson at:

Genesis 3: 16. “Unto the woman he said, I will greatly multiply thy sorrow and thy conception; in sorrow thou shall bring forth children; and thy desire shall be to thy husband, and he shall rule over thee.”

The actions of Adam and Eve have had a great impact on all of God’s Creation. Sorrow and conception relate to pain. Therefore is it God’s ordained plan for women to have pain during child birth? If so do women defy God when they take pain medication during child birth?

In verse 21 we see evidence of clothing the body. How is this related to reproduction? Also as you read and study the story of David and Bathsheba in II Samuel 11 what was the responsibility of Bathsheba a married woman? Why did David lust after her naked body?

For a final thought on the equality of women in the Bible turn with us to Ephesians the 5th Chapter. In verses 21-33 we see prominent scripture that reveals the duties of wives and husbands. However why do most women and many men disregard this scripture? We will look at the following verse for our discussion.

Ephesians 5: 23. “For the husband is the head of the wife, even as Christ is the head of the church: and he is the saviour of the body.”

How can a woman head a Church? If Christ (male) is the head of the Church and the man is the head of the house how can a woman take on the man’s role? Also why do most women that want to take on a male role also have gender questions and confusion as to if they are a woman are a man?

Just what is the woman’s place in the Church? Can we find these answers in the Bible? Why do most women and the preachers that ordain women as ministers look elsewhere? Are these people of God?
