The Woman’s Role In The Bible
Part 12: The Woman’s Great Transgression
In the name of God, Master of the universe, Ruler of the earth.
My Beloved Sister in Christ Ingrid Greetings,
Peace be unto you. The breaking of the Law is noted in transgression. What Law? How does this impact on women today? Why don’t women follow Bible doctrine? Will the Preachers and Church leaders bring these questions and concerns up for review? Does the FreedomJournal bring Biblical questions and concerns up for review that man-made Church people want to keep hidden?
1 Timothy 2: 14-15. “And Adam was not deceived, but the woman being deceived was in the transgression.” (Also see Genesis 3: 6, 13, 16 and Romans 4: 15).
“Notwithstanding she shall be saved in childbearing, if they continue in faith and charity and holiness with sobriety.”
The contemporary Church in their quest to devise another religion called Christianity refuse to acknowledge much of what is written by Paul here. Thus as the man-made Churches prosper off ill gotten collections the role of women in the Church is mired in transgression.
Eve was deceived however Adam was not. Both were guilty of sin. However Paul seeks to show why the man is chosen by God and not the woman for positions of authority. Since the woman is more easily deceived she is restricted from authoritative teaching. And when she teaches it must not be over a man, but under his supervision. The phrase “was in transgression,” how is it applied here? It is a sin to transgress the law of the Lord. Although one can be induced to do so by being deceived. In Matthew 15: 14 we see Jesus teaching this principle. For example just being honest does not release one from being deceived. Most people were honest at the time they were deceived.
Paul in verse 15 notes that all women have a certain responsibility. He was writing to the women of his day however he used Eve as an example as the first woman and the one who brought transgression into the world. Meanwhile these restrictions will be lifted “she will be saved in childbirth.
The woman was chosen to bring the Savior of humankind into the world. Thus all women have the promise of salvation through the act of Mary. Although the woman transgressed resulting in all of her daughters being made to suffer the sorrow of childbirth this is the condition that can save her soul.
The woman has a special duty to bear children. This is one of the conditions by which she can be saved. We would be irresponsible to say that motherhood alone would assure women salvation, but she should follow up with a life of “faith and charity and holiness with sobriety. Paul commands women to marry and bear children in 1 Timothy 5: 14. Why should women have children? What does this scripture mean as we apply it to those in the new contemporary Churches that say God (God forbid) sanctions same sex relationships and that Gay Churches are God’s Churches? Brethren the people are God’s people however the sin that engulfs them is Satan. Meanwhile if women are to marry and bear children what would become of the world if most men laid with another man and women lay with women?
To bear children is one of the conditions of salvation placed on women. However those that are not able to bear children are excused by God.
