UPDATE FREEDOMJOURNAL PRESS: We are still having serious problems with posting our On-Line Journal. These various problems have occurred over the last several months. As soon as one problem is solved we have another problem. Hopefully we can correct these problems soon. We also trust that these difficulties are only technical and not premeditated.

THE POWER AND MIRACLE OF PRAYER

Part 1: Introduction

Editors Note: Our prayer is for the lost and the unsaved. However many are “lost saved” in that they are so-called believers but have not fully accepted the Gospel. However our prayers are more fruitful for those that exist outside the church houses as those baptized in sin are more of a remnant than those baptized in lies.

In the name of God Master, of the Universe, Ruler of the earth

Greetings Brethren,

Peace be unto you. To the Church and believing Christians everywhere. To those that believe in the Bible as the supreme authority that governs all of humankind. In this we give thanks to God the Father the Son and the Holy Spirit that leads and guides us the straightway.

Beloved prayer is one of the most important aspects of the Christian experience. Here is found hope, peace, comfort and joy in knowing that God hears and answers the prayers of the righteous.

So one day and night as our faith was challenged we prayed. However we still left our knees as did Thomas not doubting but not believing as the Word has taught us. So as the Holy Spirit guides us we reached out in prayer in our Bible study. This we have often done as a means to reinforce our faith and minister to ourselves.

Pray With a Feeling (5-4-09)

As I continued on my conversion road prayer

would allow me to see the clear distinction

between spiritual healing and physical healing.

As we write as it is written many prayers are

called out for the healing of the body.

However along the road to my final conversion

I found that the body could not be taken with

you healed or not. But the spirit that dwells

in spiritual healing could make the transition.

So this is my prayer.

As spiritual healing penetrates my prayer I come

with a pure clean heart, believing as the Word

has taught me that God will answer my prayers.

In Christ’s name we pray to the Father realizing

that God’s will is what we long for.

I kneeled there, bowed down, stood up with

my hands uplifted or sat upon my early or late

evening bed. In secret with my family, a group

in worship or in public not to show off I prayed but

always in adoration.

Thus confessing my sins with supplication and

the intercession of Christ and in thanksgiving.

Realizing that Jesus prayed for us we will also

pray for others and receive a blessing. My heart

thus burned with a forgiving spirit.

My prayers were simple without many words

and sought not to repeat the same request over

and over. However my prayers were intense

always with the tenacity of the saints confident

of the rewards rendered by God.

Beloved my prayers are without ceasing as I

pray daily and nothing dictates my prayer life other

than obedience and service to God and Christ. Thus

we pray for the absence of sin, a selfish attitude

we disdain.

We pray for answers however we come believing

thus defeating doubt. As we look to God for

strength we pray for obedience to defeat the dis-

obedience of the lost with humane compassion

for our fellowman thus also defeating pride.
