THE PARABLE OF THE MAN WITH NO NAME

15 March 2006, Percy Priest Lake, Hurricane Creek, by Carl Patton

This man although often called John,

had no name.

As an invisible man, the multitudes

often looked through and around him.

The world crashed upon their thoughts

as they drew parallels with all they knew.

Meanwhile they always looked for the same

in them and in the man called John.

John sometimes, would get confused as to

why so few could not see the man with no name.

He wandered not aimlessly as his

steps were ordered.

Would they ever know his name?

Meanwhile John saw Job.

He stood for righteousness. He stood

for faith. He saw a Book of many names.
