Peace be unto you. To the Church and believing Christians everywhere and those that believe in the Bible as the Supreme authority of God’s Laws. For the record and the sign post many people that confess to be Christians are now during these trying times looking to man, materialism and God knows what as additional authorities on how to get to Heaven. Glory be to God our Father and to His Son our Savior Christ Jesus blessed by the Holy Spirit.

Brethren many still come as babes in foul clothes not knowing that God knows all and He is the Creator not man or woman. Let not your heart be troubled as the right way to go. Just stay with Jesus and as promised the Holy Spirit will lead and guide you.

“There was once a loose woman who sold her body and her soul for drugs and things to drink. However when she came to the Church and sought relief from the distress of Satan and the world she knew not to wear the garments she once walked the streets in enticing men and women for sex.”

“There was also this hustling man who also was a man of the world. He wore certain kinds of suits.  Some were loud colors and he wore flashy jewelry. However when he came to the Lord he knew not to wear hustling suits nor rude overbearing jewelry. This was the Holy Spirit.”

Brethren  where is the Holy Spirit among those that attack God’s Law’s and wallow in disobedience?

PANTS IN THE CHURCH

(18 August 2008 by Carl A. Patton)

Black folk were poor back then.

Rent was only $15 a week I can

still see wine drinking fun

loving “Po Tom.” I also can see

the tin bath tubs and the little black

monkey heaters that heated water

for the Black ole time bath house.

This was Saturday night and all

little girl’s hair was curled

pressed, fixed and tied down

to look their best Sunday morning.

They wore the best they had to church.

I had one suit and a Sunday pair of

dress shoes. I polished my shoes and also there

was an effort to make sure my suit was

pressed and my white shirt although worn

was clean starched and ironed. No one

could out iron Black folk. I also wore a tie

with that clean white shirt.

That little girl put on her black patent

leather shoes and crinkle slips were always

under the neatly starched and ironed dresses.

This was the only and accepted attire of the

time for little girls. I also heard no talk of

leaving the girls for the boys.

Now some of those little girls are big girls.

Since never truly accepting Christ they have

looked for liberation among degenerates

who have tried to co-opt the struggle for

human rights as their struggle.

Meanwhile lost little girls who are now big

girls have forgotten where they came from.

They also don’t know where they are going as

Heaven’s door is not in acts of abomination.

They also forsake their mothers and really

expectorate on their grandmothers.

Meanwhile their granddaughters wear tennis shoes,

Jeans and clothes the previous little girls would wear

on a picnic or to the park. Casual is now a part of the

church player’s vocabulary. But there are no longer

any role models as the Mothers and some grand-mothers

who now own their homes ride to church in new cars.

These same little girls, big girls wear expensive jewelry

and allude to the great expense of proper attire for

the children. But I remember I told you of $15 a week rent.

Also of $30 a week salaries and 50 cent an hour

toiling in the same sun my grandfather picked

cotton in. We had no car but we had food to eat.

We also had clothes to wear that were pleasing to God.
