REVELATIONS IN THOUGHT FROM REVELATION
PART 1: GOD OWNS THE OIL & ALL NATURAL RESOURCES
In the name of God, Master of the Universe, Ruler of the earth
Editors Note: Beloved Brethren these are the days of the FreedomJournal as we look to God for answers to life’s dilemmas and problems. What will the Preachers say? Has the god of money and the lust for things material rendered a brain dead cadre of lost souls that see not God but things? To them and those in the academic (world) community who have traded principles and values for tenure, payday and a holiday no one of the nonconformist community envy your way of life.
No one can truly be an independent thinker and great thinker committed and concerned with vows to things in the flesh. The only true and righteous answers are found in scripture as God has already spoken the words. There is also a verdict. We know not what is revealed until we see like John walking, talking and writing in the Spirit. How much oil is needed? Where will it come from?
Peace be unto you. Should man drill for Oil in the great seas? Does man have the right to tamper with the earth? Have most of the missions of man to pull precious natural resources from the earth been out of need or greed? Meanwhile do most of the campaigns to rid the earth of its natural resources present a danger to the earth? Is the theft of these resources also a means to bring harm and danger to the people that reside upon the land? What are the lessons learned when we have a great crisis regarding the manipulation, tampering and disturbing of the things under the earth?
Revelation 5: 13 “And every creature which is in heaven, and on the earth, and under the earth and such as are in the sea, and all that are in them, heard I saying, Blessing, and honour, and glory, and power, be unto him that sitteth upon the throne, and unto the Lamb for ever and ever.”
Beloved Heaven is where God dwells. Earth is the abode of the living human beings and under the earth is the place of the departed spirits. These are the three regions of all intelligent creatures. Should the ground that rests in peace under our feet be tampered with?
Look now at the phrase “In the sea and all that are in them.” This does not mean the men that lived on the water because they are included in the men of the earth. It means the living creatures of that domain. This domain consists of three fourths of the surface of the earth. We know that these dumb creatures that live under the water and those that fly through the sky cannot praise the Lord. However their very existence under the power of Almighty God is a great service to humanity and all of humankind. This is surely a form of praise. (See Psalms 148: 1-10 where we find all of Creation Praising the Lord, Glory Hallelujah).
Our beloved brothers and sisters of the Spirit may the peace of God be forever with you. We beseech you to pay heed to these words. Now go with us as we look deeper, higher and further into this question.
Philippians 2: 10-11 “That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth:”
The authority of Christ is recognized in the three regions of all intelligent creatures of the earth, high and low. All things that exist acknowledge Him. But what about the resources below the earth? Will all intelligent creatures that God created bow on their knees to Jesus accepting the fact that Jesus is our Savior sanctioned by His Father our Father?
2: 11 “And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.”
The day will come when the tongues of man will recognize and speak in testimony of His authority? We testify that all things are due to the glory of God the Father. These things will come to pass regardless of the willful praise by those that love the Lord. There will also come a day when the unwilling praise will come from the enemies of the Lord. However there is no reward for those that are at odds with the Creator.
At Revelation 20 verses 11-15 John the Revelator renders a message on the final judgment. This is the great white throne of judgment. What then is the judgment of those that don’t recognize the Lord of Lord’s? Who owns all the things seen and unseen? As we consider these five verses we will note verse 13 as our primary verse.
Revelation 20: 13 “And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works.”
The Great White Throne noted in verse 11 represents purity and justice. Brethren regardless of the actions of man God is the Creator of mercy and justice for all that liveth and all that have died buried in a grave. Rest assured as the Book of Life is opened all will be brought before the throne of judgment. In the books will be a judgment regarding works although man cannot count on salvation to eternal life through works as this is a free gift. But the Book of Life contains the names of the faithful servants of the Lord and the records of man’s actions. Those moved by greed, those that are needy those that have prospered in love are all counted.
Beloved there will be a resurrection as we look at our primary verse regardless of where your body or spirit has been. Those devoured and buried in the great sea will also be called. But what of those that willfully burned the body at death? Does God give anyone permission to attempt to destroy the body at death? Do you own your body? Who owns the oil? The sea will give up to God who God calls as He owns the great seas and all therein.
As these days come to a close as the judgment seat looms death and hell will no longer be needed. The lake of fire will thus never consume those that take the goat road to hell. But God allows us all to move by our own feelings and through free-will. Those that love the Lord as they love self and their neighbor and all that liveth are written in the Book of life.
Brethren we also invite you to read and digest several verses found at I Chronicles 29: 10-13 especially verse 11. Here we find powerful and significant expressions of gratitude and praise to God. God is the divine giver of all good things. He is acknowledged as the source of all good things. Are those that care nothing for the earth and its people as they steal from the earth aware of the goodness of God?
