THE PREACHER/MINISTER/PASTOR

(What Does The Bible Teach About Preachers?)

Part 94: The 2nd Coming of Christ: What Does It Mean? (Matthew 24: 30-51)

Greetings Brethren,

Peace be unto you. Beloved we are forever grateful for the times upon the earth for after that there is eternal life for the righteous. This life will end (forever is not for an eternity) but after the judgment there will be life with no end.

Thus we are forever grateful for our Father God and our Savior who will come back to Judge the good and bad and for the Holy Spirit that keep us on course.

Peace and Love, Carl a willing servant of Almighty God in service to Christ writing for the FreedomJournal April 14, 2007.

In the name of God, Master of the universe, Ruler of the earth

The 2nd coming of Christ means more than just waiting on God. To be ready means a time of obedience and sacrifice. We can stay focused toward these goals by keeping God first and staying in prayer. But many seek to deceive not only man but also God. As man knows little God the Creator knows all.

Matthew 24: 30: “And there shall appear the sign of the son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of earth mourn, and they shall see the son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.” (Also see Daniel 7: 13; Zechariah 12: 10-14 and Revelation 1: 7).

The 2nd Coming of Christ is to come after the Dark Ages. However have the Dark Ages ended? Although the Bibl has been returned to the people they do not read are study what is written there.

John in Revelation 1: 7 says humanity will mourn at His coming. Meanwhile the coming in the clouds is also noted in Acts 1: 11 and Jude 14. So the Bible is clear that Christ will return to the earth to judge all of humankind. So why do so many Preachers mislead people into believing that money and works will provide an eternal judgment from Jesus?

Matthew 24: 31: “And he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather his elect for the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.” (Also see I Corinthians 15: 52; I Thessalonians 4: 16 and Revelation 11: 15).

The prediction that a trumpet will be heard when Jesus comes again is also made in I Corinthians 15: 52 and I Thessalonians 4: 16. This time will also mark the end of the world. The angels will also gather the elect (the saved ones) of Christ find this also at Matthew 13: 39).

So the Bible teaches that time will come. However a verbal testimony of love of Christ etc. does not mean one is once saved always saved. Christ saved the world for sin however you have to activate your salvation with love and a heart of God and Christ.

Matthew 24: 36-39: “But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only.”

“But as the days of No-e were so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.”

“For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that No-e entered into the ark,”

“And knew not until the flood came and took them all away; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.”

Often we hear of someone declaring the day and time in which Christ will come back. But here we find that the Bible tells us no man knows the day or time. Therefore those that spread this blasphemous misinformation are false Prophets. (Also see Acts 1: 7, I Thessalonians 5: 2, II Peter 3: 10).

What were the conditions during the days of Noah? Do they still exist? (See in reference to verse 37 Genesis ss6s: 3, 7: 1, Luke 17: 26 and I Peter 3: 20).

Meanwhile eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage are in itself not wrong. But to be consumed in these temporal pleasures were. The people were so absorbed in these practices that they paid little or no attention to Noah. Many people also pay little attention to the FreedomJournal as we declare the world mirrors the time of Noah and some still cry for the people to repent and turn to God and Christ. (See II Pete 2: s5).

Meanwhile as taught in verse 39 the people were so caught up in their present affairs that they did not realize the danger of the flood until it was upon them. Meanwhile the 2nd coming of Christ will also be upon the world as a great surprise just as the flood was during the days   of Noah. But many will be prepared when Jesus returns (See I Thessalonians 5: 4). However many wander lost as they seek not the Truth and follow those that speak only for self and those opposed to God.
