Part 44: Moses Warns the Israelites and The People of The Earth

Greetings Brethren,

Peace be unto you.Gracious Father which art in heaven we are thankful for you have been so good to send your son Christ Jesus to die for our sins. Thus removing the need to atone for our sins by sacrificial offerings and providing for a priesthood (with tithes and offerings) that you replaced with Jesus as the high priest. Thanks be to you Father for allowing Jesus to send back the Holy Spirit that leads and guides us to this Truth and all manners of righteousness.

In the name of God, Master of the universe, Ruler of the earth

Brethren we continue our discussion with Deuteronomy 13. Moses warns the people chosen by God against the worship of other gods. What are the parallels between the apostate church and the idol gods of the Old Testament?

Many leaders, church sects, cults etc that are attractive, rich, popular etc. do not always follow God. In fact the people of God (leaders) have a low profile. Why FreedomJournal? Because most of the churches and church leaders persecute real Christians like the apostate church did during the early days of the church.

Meanwhile many of the contemporary church leaders come with new ideas and programs toward worshipping God. Are they consistent with Godís Word? Many speak certain truths but direct the people to worship them.

During the time that Moses writes God used evil people sometimes to carry-out His plans. These same people also communicated His word to the people. Often these same people were allowed by God to perform super-natural deeds. For the record God may still work His will through evil however we do not believe that God will allow evil (people) to perform super-natural deeds. Those that claim healing power and the ability to raise the dead are not Godís people but Dragonites.

Meanwhile God will not allow His power to be used to uplift man. Nor will God allow His power to be used to fleece the flock.
