(What Does The Bible Teach About Preachers?)
Part 16: God Does Not Know Those That Violate The Law
Peace be unto you. When did Satan find the fertile ground to invade the hearts and minds of the multitude of Preachers who follow not the Law? Did Satan find great opportunity in teaching the Preacher to lie and become cunning thieves obsessed with the desire to become rich from church donations? Is the Preacher the Church?

Brethren many come to play church even today. As the wicked play and dally with God’s laws “The word that came to Jeremiah from the Lord, saying, stand in the gate of the Lord’s house, and proclaim there this word, and say, Hear the word of the Lord, all ye of Judah, that enter in at these gates to worship the Lord.”
Throughout the world of churches in the year 2006 we see many people that follow church rituals every Sunday but live a willful and premeditated sinful life-style.
Here in the 7th Chapter of Jeremiah the Prophet renders a great warning to the people then and now. Our primary scripture are verses 8-12. However we advise you to begin your study with the 1st verse and end with the concluding 34th verse.
Jeremiah 7: 8-10. “Behold, ye trust in lying words, that cannot profit.
Verse 10. “And come and stand before me in this house, which is called by my name, and say, we are delivered to do all these abominations?”
As we have stood among the church people today we have seen many coming with boldness to the church to worship. These same people have often committed all the acts of abomination noted in the verses preceding verses 8-12. However they did not come to make atonement. They often say they are justified in their ways of sin. But we (FreedomJournal) beg to differ. God does not reward sin and those that violate the law.
Have the houses of God become a den of robbers and thieves? Have God’s house become a gathering place for criminals?
Jeremiah 7: 11-12. “Is this house, which is called by my name, become a den of robbers in your eyes? Behold, even I have seen it, saith the Lord.”
“But go ye now unto my place which was in Shiloh, where I set my name at the first, and see what I did to it for the wickedness of my people Israel.”
The utter disregard for God’s laws has a distinct historical development. In the Book of Joshua 18: 1 it is noted that Shiloh was the first location of the tabernacle in the land of Canaan. The people during that time sinned and were chastised by God. Jeremiah refers to the period as he warns the people during his time.
As we move to the time of Jesus we see Jesus referring to Jeremiah and our scripture as noted in Mark 11: 17 and Luke 19: 46. As we move to the present time we still see thieves running all over the church. Also those that claim to speak for God violate His Laws.
