SPIRITUAL HEALING VS. PHYSICAL HEALING
Part 23: Walking In The Spirit To Spiritual Healing (Romans 8: 16-17)
Peace be unto you. Grace and mercy we pray for, realizing that our Father God is merciful. We are also thankful that we realize that God the Father and the Son are not one and the same. Thus we also know the distinct nature of the Holy Spirit for this Trinity we are forever thankful.
Brethren the road to Spiritual Healing involves getting to know God and Christ. You cannot get acquainted with the Gospel if you don’t know who Christ is.

Christ has a prominent place in the heart and mind of the righteous as we walk in the Spirit. “Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ (Ephesians 1:3). God is the Father of Christ they are not one and the same person. Just how can son and Father be the same person?
Thus how can you walk in the Spirit if you think Christ is God? We will now return to our primary scripture taken from Romans. Let it be written that Jesus as Divine and the son of God came in the flesh. He came bearing miracles and the Divine attributes of God; however Jesus was/is still the son of God. The son can never be his own father. Furthermore it is blasphemy to think of Jesus as God. Those that think that Jesus is God unknowingly claim that there is more than one God. Serving two God’s is Pagan and very ungodly. Brethren we beg you to stay with things scriptural and not what man has passed down in his flawed fleshly wisdom.
Romans 8: 16: “The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God”.
The Spirit reveals through the Gospel what is needed for one to be a child of God. Thus the Spirit mind of man knows whether he has done that. If he has it is then concluded that he is a child of God. However if you are confused about the Gospel and the role of Christ the Spirit has difficulty revealing Truth. Thus a confused Spirit mind. God back with us to Ephesians for more on this.
In the first Chapter of Ephesians the Apostle Paul is addressing the church at Ephesus. However in verses 4-12 he teaches the Apostles. We suggest that you read and digest all of these verses as you consider our primary verse here which is 13.
Ephesians 1: 13: “I whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that Holy Spirit of promise”.
Now Paul resumes teaching the Brethren in general. However there is no predestination of any man’s personal salvation. There is a particular character that will receive salvation, but you have to accept (embrace) that character to qualify for the favor.
Meanwhile there are basic truths that apply to all Christians. This included the Apostles (of New Testament times) deacons etc. What did the Brethren do after they heard the Gospel? Becoming a disciple of Christ is not done by a miracle. If that was the true the whole scheme of salvation would be a miracle. On a final note the outward proof (Light) of being in the Spirit is the fruit borne by disciples (Galatians 5: 22). Now turn over to the 4th Chapter.
Ephesians 4: 30: “And grieve not the Holy Spirit of God, whereby ye are sealed unto the day of redemption”.
The word grieve here means to offend. The guidance of the Holy Spirit revealed the Bible to the world. Disrespect of the sacred texts will grieve and offend the Holy Spirit. Brethren do we show disrespect to the Bible by tearing it up? To tear up, not to keep tidy are take care of. Do we disrespect God and the Bible when we lay the Bible on the floor as a dust rag? What of the nature of disrespect when we say that the Bible says things that are not written there?
The truth of salvation was revealed by the Apostles. There will also be a day (day of redemption) of judgment when the faithful will be rewarded with eternal life.
II Corinthians 1: 22: “Who hath also sealed us, and given the earnest of the Spirit in our hearts”.
God promises us a great favor yet to come. The Apostles received a miraculous measure of this assurance. However none of this is possible without walking in the Spirit. You have to truly accept God and Christ for the Holy Spirit to guide you to Spiritual Healing.
