SPIRITUAL HEALING VS. PHYSICAL HEALING
Part 20: Jesus Christ Directs The Way & Is The Way to Spiritual Healing
(Romans 8: 10)
Peace be unto you. Praise be to Almighty God our Father and to His son our Savior Christ Jesus. We are also grateful that God made it possible for Christ to send back the Holy Spirit when He ascended back to be with the Father.
“Meanwhile many wander in a lost world thinking that man has the road map to salvation. Here they never realize that God and Christ also offer instant gratification. It is called joy. But what comes late is everlasting.”
Peace and Love, Carl A. Patton a willing slave of Almighty God writing for the FreedomJournal December 16, 2006 in the year of our Lord and Savior Christ Jesus.
In the name of God, Master of the universe, Ruler of the earth
Beloved Brethren we can only know Christ by reading and studying the Word of God. Yu cannot reach Peace and Paradise without knowledge of the route. In fact the multitudes cannot get to Disney World without a man-made map.
Romans 8: 10: “And if Christ be in you, the body is dead because of sin; but the Spirit is life because of righteousness”. (See Romans 6: 6 the body means the old man, John 14:20 the Spirit brings divine truth, II Corinthians 13: 5 examine yourselves, and you are either for are against Christ). The body died to sin by repentance. Meanwhile the Spirit which is the inner man came to life through the righteousness of Christ.
John 15: 5: “I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit; for without me ye can do nothing”.
The Apostles were he fist branches. Their official place had been proclaimed in Ezekiel 34: 29. However it is necessary that branches are connected to the vine (Christ Jesus). Therefore the phrase “without me ye can do nothing”. It is necessary to be connected with Christ in order to bear fruit. Those that are connected to His body mean the church. To be excluded from the body is to be with Satan. The spiritual fruit noted in I Corinthians 5: 5 is necessary for Christ to lead us to Spiritual Healing. (Also see John 17: 23, 26)
For a final thought on Christ directing us to Spiritual Healing turn to Colossians.
Colossians 1: 26-27: “Even the mystery which hath been hid from ages and from generations, but now is made manifest to his saints:”
“To whom God would make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles; which is Christ in you, the hope of glory”:
The unknown is classified as a mystery. Therefore this unknown element can be simple are complicated. Although the Old Testament writers had rendered prophecy regarding the mystery of the inclusion of all humankind in the gift of salvation it had to be explained by the Preachers of the New Testament with the Gospel.
In verse 27 we see that all Christians are saints. However the saints that were revealed the mystery were those inspired to preach and write in the New Testament.
Paul writes in Ephesians 3:4 “when ye, read, ye may understand my knowledge in the mystery of Christ”. This great mystery revealed that the Gentiles would be given the same privileges as the Jews. Many Jews had overlooked this prediction. Sadly many today also overlook this great prophecy that had already be fulfilled.
