SPIRITUAL HEALING VS. PHYSICAL HEALING

Part 2: You Have To Know Christ To Be Spiritually Healed

(I Corinthians 2:1)

Greetings Brethren,

Peace be unto you. Gracious Father God we will forever praise you. Thus we are thankful for your presence in our lives. We are also grateful that you allow us to rejoice in the knowledge of Christ Jesus the Savior of humankind. We are also thankful for the joy through the divine presence of the Holy Spirit. We declare the order of the Trinity and testify to this divine reality

Brethren you cannot become spiritual healed if you don’t know God and Christ. The healing is in the blood so we all have to bleed to be healed.

Peace and Love, Carl A. Patton a willing slave of Almighty God writing for the FreedomJournal November 29, 2006 in the year of our Lord and Savior Christ Jesus.

Beloved the Apostle Paul in his first letter (epistle) to the Corinthians in the second division teaches us about the spirit and wisdom. Our primary verses are 14-15 however we will begin with the first verse and work our way to our primary verses realizing that all verses in this chapter are important to understand the essence and importance of Spiritual Healing.

I Corinthians 2:1: “And I, Brethren, when I came to you, came not with exccellency of speech or of wisdom, declaring unto you the testimony of God.”

Paul continues his discussion on the pride and puffed-up wisdom of the world. For example when Paul brought the Gospel to them in Acts 18: 1-11 he came with Christ on his heart humble and sincere. Turn to the first chapter of Corinthians for an additional scriptural reference.

I Corinthians 1: 17: “For Christ sent me not to baptize, but to preach the gospel: not with wisdom of words, lest the cross of Christ should be made of none effect.”

For the record Paul is not saying here that baptism is of little importance. (See Acts 19: 1-5; Romans 6: 3, 4: Galatians 3:27 and Colossians 2:12). He was only thankful that he had let others do most of the baptizing at Corinth. Thus leaving him to do what he could do best which was preach the gospel. This required more than physical strength. But his preaching was not accomplished by worldly wisdom. The world and its wisdom would detract from the Gospel. Therefore the Spirit (Spiritual realm) directs you to Christ not worldly wisdom.
