Greetings Brethren:

The world needs Healing. However the world and its people cannot receive Healing when they don't know God.

There was once a man and many people that faced or had endured a great crisis. They all talked about God.

Did this man talk and come to know God yesterday, today or will he know Him tomorrow? God will pave a rough road and make the crooked places straight when you know Him. Claiming to know God is a faithless exercise in diversion. Peace comes to those who know.

Peace and Love,

Carl Patton writing for the FreedomJournal September 17, 2001 in the year of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

In the name of Jehovah God, Master of the universe, Ruler of the earth.

Is the physical healing of the body taken for granted? For example when a small cut or bruise heals is this the will of God? God is the Creator, and He heals all of humankind. Thus, believers and non-believers receive God's healing. However, all manners of physical ailments are not always healed. Thus, healing can be viewed in a twofold sense. There is Physical healing and Spiritual healing. What comes first?

Our faith promotes spiritual healing. Thus, faith can help us receive healing. Also lack of faith hinders healing, but healing does not depend on faith. Therefore, healing depends on the healer. Jesus as the Son of God who walked the earth was/is the greatest healer.

Jesus means Yahweh, Jehovah is salvation. The four Gospels are primarily theological writings which set forth the central features of the message of salvation, the crucifixion, resurrection, glorification and second coming. Matthew and Luke are the two Gospels that record the birth of Jesus and provide us with a list of Jesus' ancestors.

Matthew traces the genealogy of Jesus through the royal line of David back to Abraham. Matthew thus shows that the Messiah prophesied in the Old Testament was truly a Jew and a son of David. (Matthew 1: 1-17).

However Luke in his genealogy of Jesus (Luke 3: 23-38) extends all the way back to Adam, indicating Jesus' kinship to all of humanity. Jesus declared that true religion consisted less of insincere tithing and alms giving than in the love of one's neighbor (that includes your enemy) and humble, undivided devotion to God.

As Jesus began his Ministry it became evident that healing belongs to every believer. It is also noted that healing is in regard to God's will. Thus Jesus healed through the power of God the Father.

In Matthew 12:15-21 Jesus teaches us a great lesson about healing. It is for sure that the primary purpose for our review and study of Healing as noted in the Bible is because of the false teaching. Thus, the Ministry of Jesus is a grand model for our review.

Matthew 12: 15-16. "But when Jesus knew it, he withdrew himself from thence: and great multitudes followed him, and he healed them all."

12: 16. "And charged them that they should not make him known."

As we look at the previous mentioned passage of scripture, we also must note verse 14. Here we see the Pharisees plotting to kill Jesus. Jesus had exposed them and they were angry. Jesus had revealed that they were more loyal to their religious system than to God.

For the record the FreedomJournal notes that we have come to expose the wicked. In this review our expressed purpose is to expose the ungodly faith-healers. We are no way comparing our mission to the Divine mission of Jesus. However, we have come to witness for God and uphold the teachings of our Savior as noted in the Holy Bible.

So Jesus realizing (being all knowing) the plots of His enemies withdrew, however the people followed Him and he healed all that needed healing. Our second great lesson is revealed in verse 16. Jesus did not want the people he healed to tell about this miracle. Jesus was on an expressed mission from the father therefore He did not want to create any confusion that would hamper His teaching Ministry.

As a further word on the false teachers and faith-healers of today there is no indication anywhere in scripture where Jesus charged for healing the sick. Also Jesus was concerned about people coming to Him (as a healer) for the wrong reasons. However, the so-called faith-healers of today advertise their healing ministries through every source of media. They also accept contributions and often note that the more you contribute the more healing you will receive.

12: 17. "That it might be fulfilled which was spoken by Esaias that prophet saying,"

The writer Matthew often quoted Old Testament scripture to show that Jesus was indeed the Messiah. Hence we see another great lesson that also refutes the faith-healers interest in money and the great priority placed on money in the church today. The prophecy noted in Isaiah 42: 1-7 reveals that the Messiah would not be a materialistic high profile king the Jews expected. Thus those that come to flaunt wealth in the church are not Christ-like. From our evaluation they are justly called Devils and the ungodly.
