The Bible does not report anywhere
that God and the Savior are materialistic. Hence there are no role models for
financial prosperity and the selling of God's healing power among Jesus Christ nor
any of the Prophets, Apostles or Disciples. Therefore it is clear that the
materialistic priority in the church today and the lies of the Faith-Healers in
these times comes from Satan and not God.

CHRISTIANITY: FALSE TEACHING, FALSE DOCTRINES
THE MIRACLE OF HEALING
PART 42: A CLOSER LOOK AT THE RELATIONSHIP OF FAITH & HEALING
CORINTHIANS 12:3 & JOHN 4:2 & 1-6)
the name of Jehovah God, Master of the universe, Ruler of the earth.
Faith surely plays a great part in
the healing process. However, many believers maintain that faith is the key to
healing. This belief also prompts those that seek to beguile the believers into
thinking they are mediums toward healing and the dispensers of healing.
Here we see many believers noting
that God always heals at the initiation of our faith. Faith therefore as an
integral part of the healing process and the Christian journey must be our
initiative. However, this initiative and faith comes through the Holy Spirit.
Thus the Holy Spirit prompts us to accept Jesus and the end result is faith.
As we look at a prominent scripture
reference on the power of the Holy Spirit we will go back to days of Paul and
transcend to the present.
1 Corinthians 12:3. "Wherefore I
give you to understand, that no man speaking by the Spirit of God callet Jesus
accursed: and that no man can say that Jesus is the Lord, but by the Holy
Here the Apostle Paul is teaching
about spiritual gifts. Many people came to speak for God, however many were
false teachers. Heathens and idol worshipers were evident throughout the land.
They came to dupe the people and swindle them in the name of a false god.
Paul offers a test or method to
discern the false teachers. Thus we must make an analysis and ask ourselves do
these people confess that Christ is Lord. As we put them to the test consider
what they teach about Christ.
As we take this passage in transition
to the present we see that many false teachers still invade the churches. Many
of these people claim to have super-natural powers that allow them to heal. The
tests that Paul advised during the days of the early church are still valid.
For example many claim the Holy Spirit told them to do this and the Holy Spirit
told them to do that. The Holy Spirit has not told anybody to heal the sick.
Because God heals the sick and God does not want man during this day and time
to take the credit for His work.
Again we note that the Holy Spirit is
a positive occurrence. Therefore, the Holy Spirit has not told Preachers to use
His healing power as a means to amass great wealth. It is for sure that rich
Preachers, heavy laden with jewelry and filled with materialistic messages are
dis-pleasing to God and not God sent men.
An additional powerful message on how to discern those not speaking for God is found in 1 John. 1 John 4:2, & 1-6. Distinguish truth from false teaching.
4:1. "Beloved, believe not every
spirit but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets
are gone out into the world."
The spirits means those who claim to
be speaking by inspiration. The false teachers made the erroneous claim to
speak for God to gain attention from the uninformed. Thus, we are not to
believe everything a so-called man of God says just because he claims to speak
for God. In the next verse we see a fourth test that can be used to distinguish
the righteous from the un-righteous.
4:2. "Hereby know ye the spirit
of God: Even Spirit that confesseth that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is
To all those that profess the life of
Christ. There is a simple and fruitful way to test if Preachers in todays,
churches are truly inspired by God. Read the word for yourself and see if what
they say is truly what God says in the Bible. Also, note their commitment to
the body of believers. Check out their life-style. Also, look at the fruit of
4:3. 'And every spirit that
confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this
is that spirit of anti Christ, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and
even now already is it in the world."
Many people have been duped,
brainwashed and trained like dogs to believe everything that is revealed by
false prophets. These same people believe everything they read however they do
not read with discernment. Thus they don't realize that many ungodly messages
are printed and taught by false prophets. Faith should bring patience and
strength to the believers and not a state of weakness and gullibility. Messages
that are truly from God are consistent with what Christ taught us.
For example how can you accept
Prosperity teaching as a commandment from Christ? If Christ taught this as the
prosperity minister’s claim then Christ is the leading model or figure in
the Bible that should have benefited from His goals of financial prosperity.
However, the inspired Word of God no where reveals that Christ neither the
Disciples nor the Apostles relished or pursued material possessions.
Meanwhile we see in this passage the
revelations for the anti-Christ. The anti-Christ are people that relish in all
that is evil. Thus, they are readily received by an evil world.
4:6. "We are of God: he knoweth
God heareth us; he that is not of God heareth not us. Hereby know we the spirit
of truth, and the spirit of error."
False teachers are popular with the
people of today's world because they are evil. Just like the false teachers of
the Old Testament they tell the people what they want to hear. Here John tells
the people that when you faithfully teach the Truth of God you will not be
popular. People don't want to hear that sin will cause eternal damnation. Thus
if non Christians seek to embrace men of God and so-called Christians seek
their messages and are never moved to love and accept Christ they are not sent
