Greetings Brethren:

No man or woman that walks the earth has the power to heal. Nor has Almighty God given any of the present day Preachers any power to heal the sick. Although many False Prophets and so-called Faith Healers today say that God has the power to heal they tactfully imply that God works through them to administer His healing. Thus, they claim that God uses them as an instrument for healing. God will never consistently work through a Devil to affect healing. Nor would God allow any man or woman to receive money for a free gift from God.

God is often mis-represented for example many Preachers lie on God and say God commanded a 10% income tax from all believers. However, God would never allow man to mis-use His healing power. Therefore anybody that takes money for healing is a False Prophet. God does not need a slick Preacher to affect His healing power. God can heal man through a Dog if He so chooses. Also who said you had to be touched by someone in the flesh to be healed?

Peace and Love,

In the name of God, Master of the universe, Ruler of the earth.

As we continue our review of Isaiah chapter 30, we see the Prophet Isaiah telling the people to trust in the Lord. Trust in God is very important for healing.

Isaiah 30:15.

"For thus saith the Lord God, the Holy One of Israel; In returning and rest shall ye be saved; in quietness and in confidence shall be your strength: and ye would not."

The last four words in this verse reveal the meaning of this passage. However, they turned to Egypt and other heathen nations for aid. Only God could save them.

Related Scripture:

Isaiah 28:12 and 11,13.

"To whom he said. This is the rest where with ye may cause the weary to rest; and his is the

refreshing: yet they would not hear."

This passage of scripture reflects on the consoling effect the word of Christ would have had on the people had they listened. However this verse predicts that it would not be accepted. Thus, it would not be rejected by the Jews to whom it was first offered.

Isaiah 32:17.

"And the work of righteousness shall be peace; and the effect of righteousness quietness and assurance forever."

The Righteousness of the Ruler will bring peace

Isaiah 30:20.

"And the Lord give you the bread of adversity, and the water of affliction, yet shall not thy teachers be removed into a corner anymore, but thine eyes shall see thy teachers.

In their distress the Lord their teacher will not be far away. God often teaches us righteous lessons from our trials and tribulations. See Psalms 80:5

"Thou feedest them with the bread of tears; and giveth them tears to drink in great measure."

Isaiah 30:21.

"And thine ears shall hear a word behind thee, saying, This is the way, walk ye in it, when ye turn to the right hand, and when ye turn to the left."

God will correct our path if we follow Him.

Related Scripture

Isaiah 35:8-9."And an highway shall be there, and a way, and it shall be called the way of holiness; the unclean shall not pass over it; but it shall be for those: the wayfaring men, though fools, shall not err therein."

The highway of the righteous is only noted by following God. This highway will also be protected from the wicked.

Isaiah 30:26.

"Moreover the light of the Moon shall be as a light of the Sun, and the light of the Sun shall be sevenfold, as the light of Seven days, in the day that the Lord bindeth up the branch of his people, and healeth the stroke of their word."

The Good Fortune of the Jews is expressed in symbolic language for comparison.

Related Scripture:

Isaiah 33:24. "And the inhabitant shall not say, I am sick; the people that dwell therein shall be forgiven their iniquity."

In the kingdom of Christ there will be no spiritual sickness and state of sin. The blood of Christ has brought this cure for all who comply with the conditions. There will be no more sickness. Such a state will be removed by the blood of Christ. (See 1 John 1:7).

Hosea 6:1-3. "Come and let us return unto the lord: for the hath torn, and he will heal us: he had smitten, and he will bind us up."

The people did not show genuine repentance. Also, they did not fully understand the extent of their sin. Hence they believed that the wrath of God would last only a few days. Israel meanwhile was only interested in God for material benefits. Thus, they foolishly did not value the eternal benefits of worshiping him.
