PART 1: INTRODUCTION PROVERBS 1: 1-7
In the name of God Master, of the Universe, Ruler of the earth
Editors Note FreedomJournal Press: The following series of articles have been inspired by the on-going callous attempts of censure and Censorship of the FreedomJournal Press. We believe for certain that those that believe in God will gain from an in-depth report on the futile efforts of the ungodly toward the FreedomJournal and our principal writer Brother Carl.
This series as it takes a close look at Proverbs and the Wisdom of Solomon will also include a recent speech by Brother Carl in Chattanooga, Tennessee on February 27, 2010. Therefore this series is meant for all of the inept throughout the land that continues in a blind rage in their failed attempts to derail God’s messengers.
Peace be unto you. We gather today many thoughts and aspirations as we continue to look out over the landscape. Our calling blessed by inspiration renders and on-going report but, many come sightless, they also wander in the blind. Thus, protecting our salvation we need not waste time on those that are completely lost. There is no amount of information, data, facts or opinions that can be rendered to those that are mute. Nor can we render information and knowledge to those dense and feeble-minded. The ignorant also wink and scorn knowledge and believe they can destroy Truth.
The Book of Proverbs is a powerful rendering of information as it is known as the Wisdom Book. As we look to the first seven verses in the 1st Division of Proverbs we see a powerful message regarding the purpose of Proverbs.
Proverbs 1: 1-7 “The Proverbs of Solomon the son of David, king of Israel:”
“To know wisdom and instruction; to perceive the word of understanding;”
“To receive the instruction of wisdom, justice, and judgment, and equity;”
“To give subtilty to the simple, to the young man knowledge and discretion.”
“A wise man will hear, and will increase learning; and a man of understanding shall attain unto wise counsels:
“To understand a proverb, and the interpretation: the words of the wise, and their Dark sayings.”
Verse 7: “THE FEAR OF THE LORD IS THE BEGINNING OF KNOWLEDGE: BUT FOOLS DESPISE WISDOM AND INSTRUCTION.”
Reflections On The Dumb, The Stupid, The Blind
Many days’ beloved brethren as we liveth we are
confronted with fools. Who are the fools of the
world? Do we look to man to define fool or do we
Look to God?
There is no record that those sightless and not
brain-dead see or hear. One has to have had
some semblance of a brain in use for it to become
dead so most of the completely lost or brain-less.
They scorn at those independent to think that love
the Lord. Although many of this confused lot also
claim allegiance to God and Christ, this is a false
illusion and even they know that they lie.
However they believe not that they continue to pile up
a record in the “Lambs Book of Life” that will be
read at the “Last and Final Day.” Meanwhile the
righteous have sympathy for these pitiful souls and,
Their hell-bent course as they pray for the salvation
of all that liveth. But fools have the greatest challenge.
You cannot remove thirst by rejecting the helping hand
dipped in the cool refreshing water of the rivers of life.
The wise man saw a beginning when he first saw
God and Christ. Thus when he learned to fear and
respect the Lord he had a great awakening. If any
foolishness resided in him it left.
He rejoiced in his reverence for the Lord as this
was the most important aspect of all Wisdom. Meanwhile
John leaning on just basic secular and Biblical logic
revealed that one who does not fear or respect the
Lord is a fool as he rejects instruction regarding
his conduct. Silly was the cartoons the video games
the funny books the frivolous talk about nothing but
the rejection of the Lord means more than ignorance.
Peace and Paradise,
Dr. Carl A. Patton writing for the FreedomJournal Press 18 March 2010 in the year of our Lord and Savior Christ Jesus.
