Part 12: Man Does Not Hold The Keys To Life Or Death

In the name of God, Master of the universe, Ruler of the earth

Editors Note: Beloved we bear witness that the True report of the Saints is (will be) heard. Deaf ears make for a faint heart. However even deaf ears hear God. But can you see and also hear God if you do not submit? God our Father in His loving kindness reaping tender mercies upon the lost and the found cannot move you with the Spirit if you have  flesh in the way. Our undying testimony is to keep God first and stay in prayer. This way you can feel and move in the Spirit and be saved.

Greetings Brethren,

Peace be unto you. To the Church and believing Christians everywhere and those that believe in the Bible as the Supreme authority of God’s Laws. For the record and the sign post many people that confess to be Christians are now during these trying times looking to man, materialism and God knows what as additional authorities on how to get to Heaven. Glory be to God our Father and to His Son our Savior Christ Jesus blessed by the Holy Spirit.

Beloved we (FreedomJournal) come thanking Almighty God the Father through Christ for the Spirit as we walk, sleep and think on these things. It is also He that holds the keys to Peace, Paradise and the place of the disobedient unrepentant souls.

Can we see the past and reflect on the present? I looked too yesterday and saw sunshine and rest for the weary. Many thorns were at rest and the enemies of God had witnessed the final defeat. Beloved look now with us to the Book of Revelation for a lesson as we grow in the Word.

Revelation 1: 18: “I am he that liveth, and was dead; and, behold, I am alive for evermore, Amen; and have the keys of hell and of death.”

Glory to God for John the one so close to Jesus the son of God. Who is speaking to John? So as the angel speaks representing the Lord He that liveth and was dead is Christ as the Father was never dead. The phrase “alive for evermore" means the Christ as we will see when we visit Roman 6:9. Thus the person who holds the keys to life or death is identified. Thus we see the power of control over the bodies and souls of man. However before going to Romans go with us to Matthew for a powerful scripture for those that “Man Up” and defeat death.

Matthew 10: 28: “And fear not thee which kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul: but rather fear him which is able to destroy both soul and body in hell.”

As Jesus teaches the disciples about persecution he comforts them about death to the righteous. This is also a comfort to us (FreedomJournal) as we go about our mission and assigned work for the Lord. But let us bring more clarity to this scripture as its meaning is far reaching to the true saints of God today.

Those in the flesh the human being can cause us to die physically. But Jesus here teaches that man is limited in his destruction of the human body. Thus from the concept of the believers, death in the sense that the word is used does not end.  God is the one and the only one that can destroy (place) our whole being in hell. Therefore we should fear and respect Him. So as the physical body can be temporarily destroyed by man the Spirit the soul of the righteous will reap Paradise and is immune from the evil actions of man.

Romans 6: 9: “Knowing that Christ being raised from the dead dieth no more; death hath no more dominion over him.”

Paul writes here about breaking the power of sin. For your thought and mediation read verses 1-14. Christ Jesus got up from the grave never to die again. Thus sinners, who die to sin and are buried with Christ, will follow a life of righteousness. Now for a final scripture on this subject follow us to Psalms.

Psalms 68: 20: “He that is our God is the God of salvation; and unto God the Lord belong the issues from death.”

Our God is an expression that makes the distinction between the pagan gods and the one and only true God. Thus God is the one who has power to give life to the dead.

“Beloved there was once a man who proclaimed that there is only One God. He also noted that there are Three Great Religions. He pondered as did the FreedomJournal as to the merger of Judaism-Christianity and Islam. Well then will ‘The Acceptance of the Gospel Bring Back Jesus Christ?’ The beginning was the end and the end was the beginning.”
