UNFORGOTTEN PAGES IN BLACK HISTORY
THE TRANSITION OF CULTURAL NATIONALISM TO CHRISTIAN NATIONALISM
(A CONTEMPORARY LOOK AT BLACK HISTORY 2009)
Part 12: Black History & Economics
In the name of Almighty God, Master of the universe Ruler of all the earth
Editors Note: Beloved the poor and the rich can all have peace and paradise through Christ. However many have been duped into the notion that only economic gain will render peace, joy and an earthly paradise. However the big party is in Heaven. Meanwhile John noted that 50 cent (FreedomJournal future manuscript “Going to Heaven and the 50 cent Picture Show”) want get you there. But a sincere, humble heart that pleases God will.
Peace be unto you. To the Church and believing Christians everywhere. To those that believe in the Bible as the supreme authority that governs all of humankind. In this we give thanks to God the Father the Son and the Holy Spirit that leads and guides us the straightway.
Along the way to salvation and the Truth of God I did find my way too many questions regarding the Black Experience in the economic analysis. Eventually with a full plate of history the Biblical realities would take shape and make more sense. I would also find that all things are seen in the sacred text. It is the Bible the primary of all primary sources of information.
Marx although never having the panacea did offer some reasoning toward some sense of the world of greed that got confused with growth and technology. Looking back at the fusion of minds and the unsung great scholars we see the following quote from Huey Newton the co-founder and leader of the Black Panther Party:
“Historically capitalism was a necessity before technology was developed to the point it is now. There was only a very small amount of wealth and therefore only a small amount of people could enjoy this wealth. People had to go without. But there is no excuse for oppression and exploitation today because no one has to go without. Technology has developed in such a way that every person should have an abundance of the things he needs. The only reason all human beings do not have food, shelter and medical care today is that the administrators are only interested in their profit. (Huey Newton, “The Genius of Huey P. Newton,” The Black Panther February 17, 1970, p. 17)
Greed A Transition To Hate (2-17-09)
As I continued my fusion of the thoughts
of the great scholars many other questions
became answered as I made some more
sense out of a mostly confused and distorted
historical record. For example hate did not
come first regarding racism.
When we talk about economics, we are talking about money. Thus, the economics of racism means how money influences racism and discrimination. Therefore, the motivation for racism for White people is money. Simply White people do not hate, mistreat, and discriminate against Black people merely because they are Black
So as the economic analysis took shape who
was this man Marx? Also did he make any
contributions to the struggle for human rights
throughout the Third World or for any world?
Is there really a utopian dream that can be seen?
Who are these people and can we gain anything?
The Socialists and/or Communists have offered the greatest threat to this country because they advocate the need for a government other than capitalism. However the record shows that they are highly influenced by controlling elements. We don't say this because we are Marxists wannabes nor because we are Christians. We say this because this is true. Marx or his cohorts had no plans for Africa and African people except slavery. The White Marxists and the Black clones (clowns) also have no interest in the Black Struggle except to use Black people and disrupt the Human Rights Movement.
We found as we sojourned here that many of
the principles of Marxism/Leninism were clouded
in abstract renditions of Marxism and the elitist
notion that one had to be brilliant more than once
to be an exponent of Socialism. So while there is much
to gain even from one’s enemies many things were lost.
The theories of Marx, Lenin, Engels and Hegel stand in opposition to those espoused by the Capitalists and those in a Democracy. However, Marxism, Socialism and Communism have great commonalities. Marxism is the political and economic theories of Karl Marx and Friedrich Engels. They interpreted history as a continuing economic class struggle and believed that the eventual result would be the establishment of a classless society and communal ownership of all natural and industrial resources. Furthermore Marxism-Leninism is the political and economic theories of Marx as expanded and augmented by those of Lenin.
So if one is to embrace a particular political philosophy
they must understand it. Once again there is much to
gain from a wind storm if you stop and think. Although
this system was not designed with the Black man and woman
in mind there are particulars as to Socialism that are humane
and fill the human void that seeks equality and
Socialism is also tied to Marxism and has similar components. Thus Socialism is a theory or system of social organization by which the means of production and distribution are owned, managed, or controlled by the government (state Socialism) or by associations of workers. Also we see that the Socialist Party is a political party that favors and supports Socialism. Communism is also a part of this political philosophy that is counter to Capitalism and Democracy. Communism is a theory or system of government according to which a commune is self-governing and the state is a federation of communes. A Commune or Communal has to do with a community; public. Owned jointly by all; use of and participated in by all members of a group or community.
But what were the goals and priorities of the lowly Black
man and woman in these United States and throughout the
Diaspora? How could this system work for us? Are all things
good or bad? Is there some good in capitalism just as something is
very bad in Socialism? I heard a man say there is always something
good in any negative situation if you see God.
A point of information is noted here in regard to the parallels of the White Marxists and the White Liberals. The White and Hebrew Liberals that came forth to control the Civil Rights Organizations were basically the same breed that sought to establish Socialism and Communism in the Black communities. The rallying cry for the move for both efforts was White racism. The Communists noted that Blacks could achieve racial equality by joining them and embracing a political philosophy that was more beneficial to poor people than American Democracy. Thus the Communists told Black people that Communism was non-racial and devoid of any form of discrimination.
The lost Black mind wandered but it came to the
school house. Bu the school house was a proving
ground for mis-education and his mind was wasted
on self and principles, values and morals were denounced.
Much was alluded, to impress those in the flesh but God only
waited and listened. Meanwhile the church house also failed.
Many in the Civil Rights arena told Black people that achieving social privileges were important to their quest for Human Rights. Eventually a movement to address these concerns would be noted in several celebrated court cases. Before we leave this point of comparative analysis. We note that the Communists did note the essence of economics but in a hopeless way. Thus through Communism there was no means by which the Black (economically) oppressed or the White oppressed could achieve economic parity with the leaders of the Communist Party or the State apparatus. But on the Liberal Civil Rights side the question of economic progress and development was not even considered. We now see the results.
There has always been a great respect for economic
independence. However the Godly know that money
is not everything. But the economic community
controls the political arena and with economic independence
should there be hope for social rights? With parity at the
bank the Black ranks would somehow increase.
The beginning of the slave period for Blacks in America also meant the beginning of the Economics of Racism. Thus, from all legitimate accounts the White man invented racism to justify slavery. The Europeans that enslaved the Black man, woman and child often claimed to be religious. Therefore, if White people could make claims that Black people were heathens and inferior human beings, they could justify slavery. The lie of Black inferiority, the lowly race lie became prominent. They told this lie not because of Black inferiority, but because rich White people had identified a source of free labor.
The sad confusion of what Christ meant to all
that liveth spurned a rationale for greed and hate.
The acceptance of the lowly status as inferior human
beings only served fuel to the fire. But with the true
acceptance of the Gospel all these things passed away.
God is no respecter of persons Black or White.
