WILL THE ACCEPTANCE OF THE GOSPEL BRING BACK JESUS CHRIST?

Part 6: Those That Accept The Gospel Hear God

Editors Note: Beloved we are often grieved and even despondent as we have been called to render certain messages to God’s people. For example the series on “Notes on the Black Family” has caused us great anguish as we have been instructed to reveal what God has allowed us to see. But the scriptures strengthen us to endure and to continue in His will. Be not dismayed by those that are lost. It is the Saints that are saved that are commissioned to help save the world and shine an everlasting Light that can be seen from there to here and to the Heavens. Will the lost world ever seek repentance? Accept the Gospel and find Joy in the rain.

In the name of God, Master of the universe, Ruler of the earth

Greetings Brethren,

Peace be unto you. To the Church and believing Christians everywhere and those that believe in the Bible as the Supreme authority of God’s Laws. For the record and the sign post many people that confess to be Christians are now during these trying times looking to man, materialism and God knows what as additional authorities on how to get to Heaven. Glory be to God our Father and to His Son our Savior Christ Jesus blessed by the Holy Spirit.

Beloved we bear witness to the Truth of God. Thus it is our prayer that those that accept the Gospel will hear God. Can you accept the Gospel and not hear God? Just how do you accept the Gospel? We (FreedomJournal) have heard the word of God calling out to us but we are not Jonah, Ezekiel or Jeremiah. However we bear witness that we will also see the wrath of God if we do not obey.

Therefore we note for those that are lost, blind or confused. God has called some to say and write many things. Often the words and documented accounts are not pleasing to a lost baffled world. However there are numerous precedents all through the Bible that reveals what we have encountered during our writing and teaching ministry. But there is a blessing in the “Peace in the Waiting.”

As we continue our discussion looking at Jonah we still relish in the fact of the great lessons we can learn by reading and mediating over this book. Move with us beloved as we hear God.

Jonah 3: 1-2: “And the word of the Lord came unto Jonah the second time saying,”

“Arise, go unto Nineveh, that great city, and preach unto it the preaching that I bid thee.”

Jonah by this time had learned a great lesson. It is unwise and foolish to disobey God. Meanwhile God commands the Prophet as if he had never disobeyed Him. Thus he was to go into the great city of Nineveh and preach what God told him. Brethren is God still in 2008 telling some of His chosen vessels to tell the people certain things? We cry out as did Noah that the world reeks in sin and repentance should be the call of every prayer. But who prays? Do only the righteous pray? What of the prayers of the unrighteous? Do you know the unrighteous by their fruit and God by the heart?

Meanwhile as Jonah obeys the Lord it is of note to refer to other scriptures whereby the Lord sent His messengers with God’s Truth. That great preacher Jeremiah is thus noted. God’s words to Jeremiah.

Jeremiah 1: 17: “Thou therefore gird up thy loins, and arise, and speak unto them all that I command thee; be not dismayed at their faces, lest I confound thee before them.”

Grid up thy loins is parallel to “Man Up” get hold of yourself and brace up for the test. As he is told and instructed he is also placed under a threat. He is told not to flinch as he takes God’s word to the people if so he will experience God’s wrath. Beloved the chosen vessels of God have no choice but to act according to His word. In this there is comfort and joy although peace and understanding among the masses may come only in a little while.

In the book of Ezekiel is where we find another powerful message and example of God’s chosen vessel and his calling.

Ezekiel 2: 7: “And thou shalt speak my words unto them, whether they will hear, or whether they will forbear: for they are most rebellious.”

Again God commands the prophet to speak the words of the Lord to the people. We also once again see revealed that God commands His messengers to speak regardless of the attitude of those that hear the word. Thus it is their (FreedomJournal) duty to render what God has revealed to them to do otherwise is disobedience and the wrath of God. Therefore we (FreedomJournal) bear witness that we will opt for the wrath of man other than the wrath of God. (Also see Ezekiel 3: 17; II Timothy 4: 2, 3 where he was given similar instructions and Matthew

3: 8).
