WILL THE ACCEPTANCE OF THE GOSPEL BRING BACK JESUS CHRIST?
Part 21: The Word Calls Out: Longsuffering Is Not Endless
In the name of God, Master of the universe, Ruler of the earth
Editors Note: The way of the Wind is endless as the time of the saints become numbered in the foreign paradise that many call earth. Meanwhile we continue as the Wind moves to Stand for Righteousness for in this we can see the Rain. Glory to God. The earth and its people reveal the Glory of God in the good and the not so good. We also come testifying that man will only create what God would have him to make. As man in his infant wisdom often thinks he has reached a mountain not knowing where the top is.
Peace be unto you. To the Church and believing Christians everywhere and those that believe in the Bible as the Supreme authority of God’s Laws. For the record and the sign post many people that confess to be Christians are now during these trying times looking to man, materialism and God knows what as additional authorities on how to get to Heaven. Glory be to God our Father and to His Son our Savior Christ Jesus blessed by the Holy Spirit.
Beloved we as always come in love. However we forever see the blindness of many Brethren who say they want Truth but cry out for Satan when Truth is placed on the table. Thus they refuse to accept Truth in their hearts and minds and block the Holy Spirit. But a longsuffering God cries out. Who will hear the word of the Lord?
Follow us now to I Timothy. Remember that we started at I Peter 3: 9 and we are still revealing what the word says bout longsuffering and our responsibilities.
I Timothy 2: 4 “Who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth.”
It is for sure that our salvation is directly tied into the knowledge of truth. Truth is thus necessary to receive salvation. Therefore those that make a mockery out of Bible study and Sunday School in the Church commit serious acts that can and will block their salvation. Meanwhile we see stark and dark parallels between secular education and Christian education.
“There was once a dedicated man who came to teach high school as he sought to complete his doctoral dissertation. As a Social Scientist he knew teaching history was benefited greatly by the use of maps as teaching aids. Therefore he had maps of the state (Georgia, Tennessee) where he lived and taught, the map of the United States and a world map placed in his classroom.
However when he noted the importance of geographic locations (geography) that are ascertained by reviewing maps to his students they complained to the principal. After a conference with the principal he concluded that the students had never been taught although they were in high school. They had been given grades etc. This was frightening.
Meanwhile this same man now a born again Christian (1996) and years passed 1986 to 2008-09 can see parallels in the Church. Most the Brethren have never been taught the Truth of the Bible. Nor do they realize the necessity of the Truth of God for their salvation. This is also frightening it is also deadly.”
Follow us over to the 4th Division of I Timothy for another word.
I Timothy 4: 10 “For therefore we both labour and suffer reproach, because we trust in the living God, who is the Saviour of all men, especially of those that believe.”
Paul had great confidence in the righteous principles of God therefore he labored in spiritual exercises although the enemies of God disapproved. His faith was thus so intact that he looked upon the attacks by the enemy as light affliction. He also saw that their afflictions would render him more blessings from God (See II Corinthians 4: 17).
Now look at the phrase “Saviour of all men, especially.” This phrase or note on those saved is often taken out of context to mean once saved always saved. God has provide salvation for the whole world (John 3: 16). However only those who believe and obey by faith will benefit and be especially saved. In other words there is an on-going responsibility among the saints that are saved. You cannot just verbalize that you accept Christ you must act on it.
II Timothy 2: 25 “In meekness instructing those that oppose themselves; if God peradventure will give them repentance to the acknowledging of the truth:” (Also see Titus 3: 2)
At verse 24 we see the mention of gentleness. Meekness used in our verse means a humble nature and basically the same thing as being gentle. The phrase “oppose themselves” means reference to those that place themselves in opposition to the Truth that Timothy was teaching. We (FreedomJournal) also declare that those that censor our work and block our books from the free market place also oppose Truth. There is also a judgment for those that willfully trample on Truth.
Meanwhile God wants all of humankind in sin to repent. God also will never prevent the sinners of the world from repentance if he takes on a penitent mind. But conversion and repentance must start by “the acknowledging of the truth” that was offered to them. (Also see Revelation 2: 21).
So as we (FreedomJournal) render our writing and teaching ministry many still fall by the wayside rejecting the Truth of God. But God is longsuffering He waits and they know not that the time of untruth, disbelief will end.
